Testimonials
“We knew from the first moment we met how wonderful you were. We thank you for your kindness, compassion, caring nature, and for being someone we could all rely on for advice, medical information, and your upbeat sunny disposition. You guided us from a very scary, unknown place to new beginnings and peace.”
- The White Family
“Kathy is an exceptional nurse, both in her technical abilities, as well as her compassion for her patients. She immediately made a positive impact on V, who didn't easily warm up to people. Without her, V would not have had the high quality of life in her final months, weeks, and days. Kathy can communicate effectively with the patient and the patient's loved ones simultaneously - giving each what they need.”

About kathy
In the 17 years that she spent providing end-of-life care as a hospice nurse, Kathy Sacks learned the importance of being present for both patients and their families.
Her intrinsic gift for providing empathy and support lead her to pursue not only a career as a registered nurse, but also as a practitioner of holistic medicine.
She has been a Reiki master for 7 years and approaches each day as an opportunity for new learning and mindfulness.
When she is not coordinating resources for patients and their families, Kathy is cultivating her butterfly garden and bird sanctuary at her home in Camarillo with her husband and two dogs.
She graduated from Point Loma College with a B.S. in Nursing and Public Health in 1979.
